Okay, so since we had such a good time last week with 10 minute sketches I've decided to do another week of it. Today I tried a full body sketch, so I didn't have time for color, but I think this turned out pretty well considering.Jimmy is one of those characters that I think has had a rough time trying to look "cool" with stuff like baggy pants or (ick) the mullet and earring from the nineties, along with a slew of other fashion flops. Don't get me wrong, I like Olsen probably way more than I should but he is kind of a nerd. I think we kind of need to go back to basics a bit though, keep the bow tie and stick to his roots and forget all that other crap. Come on folks Jimmy Olsen started Geek chic, period.
Hah. Great sketch Chris. I always pictured Jimmy to look like the Rivers Cuomo of the DC universe and this, for me, is pretty close.
