I'm a late convert to Avatar: The Last Airbender (I blame myself, since Cullen Bunn had been telling me to watch it for years now) but DAMN do I love this show!!
It's like you are pulling things from my mind. I just watched the first two episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender last night. So don't kick yourself too hard you aren't the only one late to the party.
I'm lame and don't know much about this show, as the movie will likely be my gateway into this world. Nevertheless, your poignantly elemental looking tribute has piqued my curiosity even more. I may have to give the show a whirl.

It never occurred to me until I saw this sketch that Aang is a total ripoff of Red Tornado. ;)
