In the Dick Tracy movie the prosthetic makeup on all the characters was just amazing... except I think they forgot makeup for one character in particular, since Tracy just looked like a regular guy! Nothin' against Warren Beatty or anything (and yeah, and I know the actors in the old serials were just normal looking chaps as well) but if you look at those old Chester Gould drawings Tracy was an odd looking guy. Giant crazy lantern jaw, big hawk nose. If it were up to me he'd be a bit more Marv from Sin City than anything else. So yeah, I guess that's where the above ten minute doodle started.
These are really nice. Great concept for a book.
