Here's the lovable Babe from the criminally underrated Atari Force.
While I was out for WizardWorld Chicago I was lucky enough to find nearly every issue I was missing of this great comic in the quarter boxes. On Sunday no less ,when everyone slashes their prices, so I got ahold of a bunch of 'em for a dime!! If you ever run across any of these while you're diggin' through back issue boxes do yourself a favor and get as many as you can! I mean come on how can you go wrong with Gerry Conway(and later Mike Baron), Jose Luis Garcia Lopez, Ross Andru, and Eduardo Barreto. Comic Book Gold every last one of 'em.
Take care everybody, I'll be back in a few.

Crocker...again
Okay, so I had some more panels scanned but after looking at them again realized this is the only one I could show without giving a little something away. So here's another Crocker panel from Q&C # 31. I'll have some new stuff here next week. Until then, thanks for lookin'!

Crocker
I figured I'd post a few panels of the next issue of Queen & Country over the next couple of days as long as I kind find some that are spoiler free. So here's a shot of our guy Paul Crocker on the phone. That's all you're gettin' outta me!

Old Timey
Tara Chace design work
Yup, just like the title says this is some early design work for the Queen & Country lead character Tara Chace. These were all done before I'd drawn a single page of the book. With the exception of the one with Tara next to the toilet, that was an early sketch for page 13 of Q&C #29.

Fear Agent
Here's a drawing I did back in October of last year of Rick Remender and Tony Moore's Heath Huston, the Fear Agent. It was done with Pitt brush pen Micron and a brand new set of grey Prismacolor markers. It's got a really cool down and dirty Wally Wood feel I really dig. The first trade is out now from Image so you've no excuse not to pick up this beauty of a comic.

Batman?
Hey everybody's gotta start somewhere, right? I found this today while Laura and I were trying to organize my office again. I think I was probably 8 or 9 years old at the time it was drawn. By the way, all the crazy vertical lines in the middle of the page are supposed to be action lines from Batman jumping off the lamp post. I'll try to have something maybe a little newer next post.

More Q&C Design Work
So yeah, we're back from Chicago and all but I've been keeping super busy finishing up the next issue of Queen & Country. So my next post should have a little on the cons we've been to this summer but until then here's some more design work for issue 31 of Q&C. Before I go I just wanted to say thanks to everyone I've met at the last few cons for being super cool and all the new folks who've taken time out of their busy days to visit my little ol' blog. You guys rock!!

Tons O' Doodles!!
With another deadline creeping up behind me and Wizardworld Chicago only a few days away I figured I'd fill this post with a bunch of sketches I've been doing since I got back from San Diego. This'll most likely be my last post until I get back from Chi-town. Later!
