HeroesCon!

Next weekend, June 4 - 6 , I will once again be attending HeroesCon in Charlotte, NC. I will be in Artist's Alley at table 304 (right between my pals Francesco Francavilla and Brian Hurtt) and will be taking a limited number of sketches each day. My con sketch prices for HeroesCon are:

$75 for a single character in B&W on 9 x 12 bristol
$100 for two characters (on 1 page) in B&W on 9 x 12 bristol

I will be starting a fresh list each day, first come first served. All sketches will be personalized, no exceptions. I am not taking pre-orders for HeroesCon as my schedule is just too hectic right now!

I will also have sketchbooks and blog sketches for sale. And if you're inclined, I will be doing sketches for donations at the Hero Initiative Booth on Saturday from 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm.

If you're headed to your comic shop today, please remember that pre-orders for Thor: The Mighty Avenger are due soon. You can now pre-order issues 1 & 2, both of which will be out in July. Don't forget I've got a contest planned for you guys & gals that pick up the book the day it comes out! JUBILEE

The above sketch is another suggestion taken from my Twitter feed.

I know she's had lots of other costumes over the years, and plenty of them that are a bit more modern, but when I think of Jubilee this is the costume that comes to mind.

The trench coat, the big pink glasses, the baggy high-waisted jean shorts... it's just so perfectly 90s! How can you not love it? :)

FCBD Sketch Round Up!

This past weekend I was at Acme Comics in Greensboro, NC for their Free Comic Book Day event. Thanks to everyone who stopped by with special thanks to Jermaine and Stephen at Acme. They put on a world class event for sure!
