Thor: TMA page up for sale!

Many of you know that I don't sell original published pages. Yesterday I put an unpublished page from Thor: TMA #3 up for auction on Ebay, so I thought I would put up a short post about the page and why it wasn't published.

I often self-reject pages after they're pencilled because they end up not working for one reason or another. In this case, I inked one panel then realized I hadn't left enough room for word balloons in many of the panels, so I shrunk down much of the page in photoshop and lightboxed it in ink onto another piece of bristol. So these are the original pencils.

The page that follows is what was published, you can see they are very similar.

Free Comic Book Day!

This Saturday, I will be at Acme Comics in Greensboro, NC for their Free Comic Book Day. If you are in the area, I hope to see you there! Acme always puts on an amazing FCBD and they have a truly awesome lineup of creators there this year!

Thor TMA!

I thought with the THOR movie coming out this week, as well as the FCBD book Captain America and Thor: The Mighty Fighting Avengers (by the THOR: TMA team) , it would be a good time to revisit our gone, but not forgotten pal, Thor: The Mighty Avenger.

Update - HeroesCon

Unfortunately, I've had to cancel my appearance at this year's HeroesCon in Charlotte, NC next month. Heroes is one of the best shows around, and I'll truly miss not being there. Thanks for your understanding.

Due to our upcoming arrival, I won't be attending any other conventions this year.
