HULK

I figured I'd dip my toe in some of the Marvel Universe that I don't get to draw on a month to month basis this week.
So let's get this week started with a SMASH!

Hulk!

Honestly, I just wanted to draw some desert. And Hulk is in the desert sometimes . . . right? :) Happy Tuesday, everybody!

Hulk & Wolverine

Didn't know what to draw this morning. Figured it was time for some Hulk SMASH!!!

Hulk (H)

Though I would tackle another alphabet sketch today. Here we have Hulk for the letter H.

HULK

HULK SMASH!!

Drawn this morning in between emails and phone calls.

HULK <3 butterfly

I think the title says it all:)

Also, the contest to win a sketch that started last week will be ending tomorrow (Oct 23rd) so be sure to get your entries/suggestions in before it's too late.

Wizard World Chicago: Yoda, Hulk & Brady

Looks like this is the last of my scans of sketches form Wizard World Chicago. Hope you all had as much fun following along with all the posts as I did sketching 'em.

Super Tuesday: Hulk vs Thor Commission- Inks

The lightning took on a life of its own here. Kinda neat though. This was actually the first time I drew Thor in this costume. It will be my last I'm afraid. There are a number costumes out there that are just far too complicated to ever suffer through more than once. This one and the current Iron-Man armor are but a few.

Super Tuesday: Hulk vs Thor Commission- pencils

Here are the pencils for the commission I posted sketches for last Thursday. I was given the option of going with #1 or #4. Since the composition seemed a bit more dramatic in #4 that's the one I gravitated toward.
Thor's arm (the one with the hammer) was a bit awkward in the initial sketch though, so I tried to punch it up a bit in the pencils.

Technicolor Thursday: Hulk vs Thor Commission- Sketches

'Nother commission for you all. Posted in crazy color and grey for easy viewing.

Technicolor Thursday: Hulk!

Since I broke out the markers, and lost track of time with this one, it actually took me 10 minutes.

This was done a little differently than a lot of my colored stuff. I actually put down a layer of light green first, layered on two darker green markers to give shape and add shadows to ol' Jade Jaws's mug. I finished it off by adding black marker and brush pen on top of the colors.

Iron-Man & the Hulk

Well, I'm probably the last person to write about the Iron-Man movie on their blog but... how great was this movie?!! I don't think, between all of my family and friends, I can remember a movie being more well received.
When, on opening week over at a friend's house, I mentioned that I had seen the movie a round of half a dozen high-fives exploded 'round the room. We must have talked about all of our favorite bits, quoted lines and talked about little nerdy Easter eggs for twenty minutes.
This movie is right up there with the first Superman film for me, and that is saying a LOT since it's not only my favorite comic movies but probably my favorite film of all time.
Here's hoping the new Hulk picture can keep up the momentum Marvel Studios has going.
