Sketches for Sale!

The newest batch of sketches (including this Netflix Daredevil) will go on sale in MY STORE on Friday, April 24th at 9 am central time! Thanks for lookin'!

Cyclops & Jean Grey

Took a stab at a Scott and Jean re-design, why not.*

Joker

I hope everybody had a nice Thanksgiving weekend and that you aren't all still picking turkey out of your teeth like our pal Joker here.

Usagi Yojimbo

This piece will be auctioned off as part of a benefit for Usagi Yojimbo creator Stan Sakai amd his wife, Sharon.  When I know more about the auction specifics, I'll be sure to post.  In the meantime, if you want to help here is more information including a donate button through Paypal.

Superman & the big Daredevil news!

I used to post a Superman themed sketch here every Tuesday back in the day. This one was fun, maybe that's something I should start up again.

Up, up and awaaayyyy!

And hey, look!! News is finally out!!

Daredevil relaunches in March as part of Marvel Now! with Daredevil #1 by Mark Waid, myself, Javier Rodriguez and Joe Caramagna!

The first interview with Mark and I is up at Nerdist!

There's also a solo one with Mark here on CBR.

And another one here at Newsarama with the both of us.

Wonder Woman

This one's for my two year old daughter whose favorite superhero is "Wunner Wunner".

Captain America & Winter Soldier

Guess who's got two ink stained thumbs and finally saw the trailer for the new Cap movie :)

Lois and Supes

Another of my favorite comic book couples.

And just FYI, I've put a couple of recent sketches (Bat Family and Daredevil) up on eBay.

Daredevil

Because, y'know, I don't draw enough of this guy already :P

Black Canary

Guess who's caught up on Arrow???

Ant Man and Wasp

Just wanted to revisit one of my favorite comic book couples.  Really loved drawing them in Thor: The Mighty Avenger.

Bat Family

Can't go wrong with the Bat Family!

Back in the swing of things!

I'm trying so hard to get back in the saddle when it comes to sketching.  Here's Rogue and Dr. Doom to start!

BLACK WIDOW

Costume tweak just for kicks. Widow is definitely due for a new costume-- but I'm not so sure going more realistic or the Avengers movie route is the way to go. This is an update of sorts to my old Widow design seen HERE.

Colossus & Kitty

This was done in the waiting room of Dobbs while waiting to get my wife's flat tire fixed. Is that worth mentioning? Does anybody read this part? Eh, it is what it is.

Have a good Monday, folks!

ELEKTRA

Figured the blog could use a splash of color :)

BLACK BOLT

What's that? You need some Kirby Dots to get you through the rest of the week? Well, here ya go!

SILVER SURFER

Anybody else have a sudden urge to listen to some Joe Satriani? :)

TANK (of the DNAgents!)

After talking about our shared childhood love of Mark Evanier and Dan Spiegle's Crossfire with my Daredevil editor Stephen Wacker the other day, I was inspired to dig out some of my old Eclipse comics.

DNAgents (another great one written by Evanier, with Will Meugniot on art duties for the most part) was the first one I had a flip through again after all these years. I couldn't help but sketch Tank here afterward :)

Have a great weekend, folks. And thanks for lookin'!

Wonder Woman

I haven't had much time for reading of late (what with juggling comic projects, family and whathaveyou) but I've slowly started catching up on the Azzarello, Chiang, Akins & Wilson relaunch of the series.  I'm really enjoying it! There are two hardback collections on stands now. Give 'em a look if you get a chance.
