Black Canary here has worn a number of different costumes over the years but this'n is still my fave : )

BLACK CANARY

This is just about the furthest thing from a redesign of Black Canary's costume, since I'm rather fond of her oldest designs, but if you'd rather see ol' Dinah in some new togs be sure to check out Project: Rooftop! I actually did a few too many sketches for Kick Ass Females Week, so Black Canary here is actually a hold over from that. Luckily she fits into both themes pretty well:)

Heroes: Oracle & Black Canary and ummm Oracle again

I was asked to draw the top piece in a sketchbook, but in my last-day-of-the-show confusion I managed to do the whole thing on a sheet of bristol board. I did the little head shot of Babs in the book to hopefully make up for my absent mindedness.

Hope you all had a safe Fourth of July... and fifth and sixth. Our neighbors are still celebrating nightly with fireworks:(
