WONDER WOMAN

Happy International Women's Day!

WONDER WOMAN

Trying out some new stuff here. I dunno.

Wonder Woman

This one's for my two year old daughter whose favorite superhero is "Wunner Wunner".

Wonder Woman

I haven't had much time for reading of late (what with juggling comic projects, family and whathaveyou) but I've slowly started catching up on the Azzarello, Chiang, Akins & Wilson relaunch of the series.  I'm really enjoying it! There are two hardback collections on stands now. Give 'em a look if you get a chance.

Wonder Woman

EDIT: This piece is now up for auction on eBay to benefit a young family in need. You can read more about their story here. If you've ever thought about buying a piece of my art - I hope you'll consider bidding. I'd love to help this family as much as we can! Thanks so much!

Old school Wonder Woman was a request from Laura, so here is my ode to Sensation Comics #1.

P.S. I won't be at HeroesCon this weekend, but if you are be sure to stop by and support my Twart Bros at the Comic Twart Panel at 1pm on Friday in Room 206. More info here!

Wonder Woman Day

This is my contribution to this year's Wonder Woman Day auction. I'm not sure if this will be auctioned in person at the Portland event or online. If it ends up on ebay, I'll post about it again. Pencils below.

Thanks for lookin'!

So Aquaman found this on the bottom of the ocean

Apparently someone didn't need it any more.

Thanks Joey Ellis for the suggestion!

What a wonder! WONDER WOMAN!!

Here's wishing you all a WONDER-ful New Year.

And if you have any leftover X-mas money to spend, I've added a bunch of new sketches, including this one, to my Etsy Store.

Mongul vs Wonder Woman

Just noticed that I never got around to posting this sketch.
I sketched this right before I started work on the short story I did with Peter Tomasi in Blackest Night: Tales of the Corps #1.
This piece is my take on the fight between Mongul & Wonder Woman from the Alan Moore & Dave Gibbons classic "For The Man Who Has Everything".

Technicolor Thursday: Wonder Woman, redux

Here's the Wonder Woman sketch from last week, now with a bit of my my pitiful Photoshop skills applied.

Gal Friday: Wonder Woman (again?)

You folks don't mind two Wonder Woman sketches in a two week period do ya?

I did a colored version of this one too, but I decided not to subject any of you to it until I can manage some time to tinker with it in Photoshop.

Have a great weekend, everybody!

Technicolor Thursday: Wonder Woman

I've started trying to utilize Photoshop a bit more... unsuccessfully most of the time. Every once in a while though, something accidentally turns out alright.

That seems to be the case here with this Wonder Woman sketch

I'm not really sure which step I ended up favoring the most, so I figured I'd just post inks, markers and the color tweak all together.

Oh no!  I already broke my Halloween theme streak!  Well... some folks dress up as Wonder Woman, right?  Are we still good?

Super Tuesday: Wonder Woman

Anyone else out there super-excited about the new WB Wonder Woman cartoon?
