Sketching at shows

Starting with the Wizard World St. Louis show, I'll be changing how I take on con sketches at conventions.  I will no longer be sketching at the show, but instead will only be taking pre-orders for sketches to be picked up at the show.  It's gotten to the point where I spend most of my time at shows signing books and participating in panels, which has not been leaving much time for sketching.  I've had to take time away from my table and stay up most of the night to get sketches done and that's taking a toll on my ability to enjoy the con experience.  I also want to make sure you're getting the best sketch possible, instead of whatever I can muster in between signing books and shaking hands.

So, if you are interested in getting a sketch from me - look for details on the how and when to appear on this blog, about a month before the convention I'm attending.  Pre-orders will be sold through my store, at a specific time, just like my blog sketches.  The number of pre-orders I take will depend on the show and my current workload, so it will vary from con to con.  I promise more details will be forthcoming, just wanted to give a heads up if you've been looking to get a sketch from me at a convention this year.

P.S. Please do not email me asking about commissions outside of cons.  I am not taking any commissions at the moment.  Thank you!

P.P.S. As of right now, I've only been announced as a guest at Wizard World St. Louis but I am attending a few more shows.  I'll update my appearances page as more shows announce.

Hi Chris,

Is email your preferred way of being contacted for possible convention appearances?
