Constantine two-fer

I'm still trying to break in a new scanner so I apologize if the scans are a little off. These were done back in '05 around the same time, but somehow ended up looking totally different from one another. I think the top one came out the way it did because I'd gone such a long spell without inking anything and ended up just noodling the hell out of it with way too much feathering. On that note, I don't know if a lot of other artists are like this but I do get a bit antsy if I go a while without inking. Pencilling is sort of a necessary evil, while inking is where all the fun is for me.

I love the bottom sketch, mostly because you can tell alot of effort was put in, but not overly detailed. That is a surprising point, pencilling being the necessary evil. Still I think you do both quite well, and your coloring is pretty good too.

Thanks, Justin! Yeah, I don't know if I'm the only one who feels that way (there are books that are scanned straight from pencils nowadays!)but for me the most fun of making comics is slopping down ink.
