Darnit! I'm a fan of both of your work -- drat! Anyhow, sorry I missed the signing but my wife and I (and our baby girl) skipped town for the coast to avoid the heat! If you haven't been to the Oregon coast yet btw, make sure you check out Manzanita, Wheeler, and Nehalem -- they're our faves. And a belated welcome to Portland too, we love it here and I'm sure you guys will too!Hope the signing went well, those guys at Cosmic Monkey are pretty great.Best,Jim
Thanks for the tips, man! Just as soon as I manage to get a bit ahead of the dreaded deadlines me and the missus are planning a bit of a "stay-cation" where we take a bit of time away from work to see what all PDX has to offer :)Oh, and the signing went really great. Thanks for asking. See ya around!
Hey, you're welcome! And as for getting "away" on a stay-cation once deadlines are caught up, don't do like we've done and almost NEVER get away due to deadlines (I'm an illustrator and my wife's a writer and illustrator/designer). Luckily we've still managed to find the time to make friends here in the past 9+ years, some of whom tease us because we admitted that the super-power we'd want is to be able to stop time (for the world around us) so we could...get more work done! Heh. (ok, either that or immortality. That'd work almost as well though it'd make us seem less prolific than the time-stoppage :)Anyhow, continued success and beautiful work! And PDX has a TON to offer both in town and within an hour or two of driving. It's pretty amazing!Jim
