Yesterday, a preview of Serenity: The Shepherd's Tale went up at Wired.com, so I thought now would a good time to mention that you can pre-order the book at your local comic shop or on Amazon. I've been told the release date has been moved up to October 27th.If you missed the news out of NYCC, I'll also be doing an 8 page Serenity story with Zack Whedon for USATODAY.com. Newsarama has a great interview with Dark Horse editor Scott Allie on the partnership.

Okay so apparently October 27th 2010 is the best day of the year. Not only does Rock Band 3 come out the day before, but so does Back to the Future on Blu-ray trilogy pack, the Aliens films on Blu-ray, and then, THEN, on the 27th?
My wife and I celebrate our 3rd anniversary. And I get a new Chris Samnee book. Win-Win!!
one of my favorite artists on one of my favorite properties... i was already excited about this, but a pushed-up release date makes me even *more* excited!
