This sketch of Superman's gal, Lois Lane was inspired not just by her skill at reporting the news, the eclectic company she keeps, or the fact that she looks tops in a pencil skirt... although any of those would be a valid inspiration to warrant committing her likeness to paper.

No, this sketch of Ms. Lane is all thanks to the hilarious, oft times foul-mouthed (cut her some slack, she was an Army brat and she works at a newspaper) 140 character-or-less updates that we get from her Twitter feed every day.

HAWKMAN!!

I'm starting to get really jazzed about Hawkman's appearance on the upcoming episode episode of Smallville entitled "Society".

The fact that this episode will also showcase Dr. Fate and Stargirl, is being written by Geoff Johns AND is now being planned as a two hour movie event is almost too much after seeing this first shot of ol' Carter Hall in the flesh.

Anyway, this sketch is just a spillover of that excitement:)

Also, when I try to channel Kubert it comes out looking more like Bernet...
