LOIS LANE

This sketch of Superman's gal, Lois Lane was inspired not just by her skill at reporting the news, the eclectic company she keeps, or the fact that she looks tops in a pencil skirt... although any of those would be a valid inspiration to warrant committing her likeness to paper.

No, this sketch of Ms. Lane is all thanks to the hilarious, oft times foul-mouthed (cut her some slack, she was an Army brat and she works at a newspaper) 140 character-or-less updates that we get from her Twitter feed every day.

If you're on Twitter @planet_lois is a must follow.

Okay, that's it from me. Have a great weekend, kids. I'll see you all back here on Monday!!

Very nice! I take it this scene was based on @planet_lois' recent reporting on the Rann/Thanagar/Colu conflict? Ha ha!

Glorious.

This is one of your very best, Chris! From the clever shadow work to the disinterested charm and otherworldly bravado that Lois seems to exude, this one is cover-worthy. Wow!

DUDE!
you tell SO much story here!
Not only is her expression and posing fucking top-notch (i love the foot/shoe dangle- my wife does that). It all conveys infinite boredom with the battle that's raging right before her eyes that she sees as so humdrum and ordinary.

But she still has the pad out just in case anything worth writing down comes up. Fuckin' perfect illustration man.

I'm with Matt W. on this one as it is all about the attitude you were able to express through Lois's body language.

Only got to see this on my mobile phone until now. It's perfection. A great witty idea, and fantastic rendering of Lois
