I thought that was rad. I love to see how different artist work. I say post more!!!
My question is what pen is that you are using to draw with?
You should definitely do more of these, it's insanely rad.
Thanks, Hopscotch Sunday!
M, it's a Pentel Color Brush. You can find 'em at www.dickblick.com or finer art stores.
That was wicked< i'd love to see more of those. Have you ever tried using the Black PITT brush pen?
That was rad, man. I'd like to see more videos.
Thanks, Costa!
Mike Rooth: I love Pitt pens!! I think they're better on more technical stuff though... at least for me.
Thanks, Jose. I'll try to do more one o' these days.
Chris, thanks so much for taking the time to share your work this way. So, are you using India Ink in the Pentel Color Brush? I've got a Pentel Pocket brush, but the flow looks really great on the Color Brush. I think I'm going to order one tomorrow. Your work is amazing, and your a very gracious creator. You've definitely done more than your fair share to turn me into a rabid fan.
You draw pretty and I like to see it.
that is amazing
Yeah, this was great. Thanks for sharing!
My favorite part was how you didn't even pause for a second before dropping those cast shadows all over the figure. It must be hard riding a bike with balls that big. ;)
DEFINITELY want to see more of these! its amazing to watch you at work! thanks for sharing!
Wow.... very cool to see the process. I'd throw in a vote for more. :)
I am de-hefinitely up for more of this. Why, I'd sit with a cuppa Joe and a biscuit and watch 30 minutes in the real-time
Alan, thanks for saying that! I had to download a different version of iMovie to get it to speed up since I figured no one would want to watch it in real time. Maybe next time we'll post both sped-up and real time versions.
Like to see more?! Does a bear $#!@ in the woods?! Do flies fly?! Is water wet?!.... In other words, yes please, that would be great.
Great idea - you'll have a nice little library of these before you know it and somebody will be asking for a DVD. Dollars! (I'm such a money-grubbing bastard).
I agree with Alan, I'd love to see these posted in real time! That was super sweet Chris! Thanks for sharing!
Was that a familiar face I saw in the previews of Siege Embedded #2!?! That was a pretty awesome thing to do!
I'm so happy for your much deserved success and recongition, Chris! Skies The Limits!
This is fantastic. Chris, you are the best and I'm SO glad that other people are finally starting to realize that. Like Erica above, we're all very proud to see your popularity growing by the person and you deserve every bit of it. Keep on keeping on.
What about a Web-series: Sketching with Samnee?
More, please.
I just saw that Newsarama is giving this video a lot of love, it is great! Glad to see some many people are taking notice of your artwork Chris, you deserve it!
Congrats.
Jason
Very nice. Since this has not been altered in anyway, I would like to know what coffee you are drinking :)
Keep up the great work Chris!
I'm thrilled to see all the new posters on here today. That newsarama.com feature was really unexpectedly cool. Chris, you're a wizard with the brushes, and I, for one, would love to see more of these behind-the-scenes features.
Thanks everyone! There will definitely be more videos in the future! :D
Amazing to watch and glad to hear you'll be posting more...any chance of doing something on Ustream?
Thanks, Brian. Maybe. We'll have to see if Laura has the time to set something like that up.
please keep posting videos. so awesome to watch and learn from you.
Thanks, that was a lot of fun to watch your SwampThing take shape.
Funny, when you first started to splash the shadows across Swamp Thing, I went, "Oh, No, why'd he do that!" and within a couple of seconds I saw the finished effect and went, "Ah, that's why, that looks great."
always a pleasure to get a chance to see you work your magic,sir...
Do we want more?
Does a fat baby poo? yeppers!
Hey Chris and Laura! I just saw this on http://drawn.ca/
