Serenity!!!

Last week, one of my new projects was announced by actor Ron Glass! If you haven't heard, I'll be the artist on the upcoming Serenity: The Shepherd's Tale graphic novel, published by Dark Horse Comics, written by Joss Whedon & Zack Whedon, with colors by Dave Stewart! You can see the above image with Dave Stewart's amazing colors, as well as read an interview with me and Dark Horse Editor Scott Allie, over at CBR!

Below are early sketches for the book, as I was trying to get a handle on drawing these great characters! Hope you enjoy!

Serenity NOW!!! Sorry couldn't help myself. As much as I miss this show, at least it lives on in comic form. Looking forward to it.

Wow I'm super excited-- not only that you're drawing it but that we finally get to know what the hell is UP with Shepherd!

See, I don't normally get excited about liscensing work like that. But that is a character I loved from the series, and well, you doing it. HA!

Can we bug Dark Horse for a t-shirt of the Book/soup bowl image? I want one to wear at Comic-Con. (Well, okay, I already bugged them on Twitter.)
