Wizard World Chicago - Sketch Pre-Orders

I'll be attending Wizard World in Chicago on August 6-9, 2009 and am accepting pre-orders for con sketches.

My con sketch prices for 2009 are:

$50 for a single character in B&W on 9 x 12 bristol
$75 for two characters (on 1 page) in B&W on 9 x 12 bristol

All sketches will be personalized, no exceptions. This list is ONLY for sketches I can get done before the show. Do not email me if you want a sketch in your sketchbook, please come see me as soon as possible at the show.

If you know you will be attending Wizard World Chicago and would like a sketch please drop me a line with your sketch request, my email address is in my profile. Please use "CHICAGO SKETCH LIST" as the subject for the email.

I will most likely only be taking on about 8 sketches each day of the show so I can make each one as good as possible. Hopefully getting on the list will ensure that anyone who'd like a sketch can get one, and this way there's less wait for all you nice folks.

Heroes Con: Godzilla vs Red Ronin

I have to be honest I've never read any of Marvel's Godzilla comics. It appears that his model skewed a bit closer to the animated series than his theatrical counterpart since they went with green (Godzilla is grey folks, really). Anyway, Marvel or no, I'll gladly take any opportunity to draw the big guy.

Yup... Longshot and Mojo. I had a joke prepared for this post... but I haven't put enough coffee in my tank yet and can't seem to remember it. Oh well. Happy hump-day, kids.

Heroes Con: Amethyst...Princess of Gemworld

Laura thinks it's funny that I call Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld "Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld". That's just what I always called her when I was a kid. I had the habit of calling characters by their comic or cartoon titles. I used to call He-Man "He-Man, Master of the Universe" for the love of Pete.

Heroes Con: Alpha One & Cole

Above is actually the first time I've drawn characters from the Mighty for a con sketch. First time, WOOT!

Man, I'd kill to draw a Buffy comic! Maybe not a Buffy vs Freddy comic but Buffy would be a total blast.
