About Me
I grew up drawing comics in DeSoto, Missouri. I've done artwork for the graphic novel Capote in Kansas (which I received a nomination for the 2006 Russ Manning award for) and Queen and Country, both published by Oni Press, The Exterminators and American Splendor, published by DC/Vertigo and Checkmate, published by DC Comics as well as the Daredevil Annual: Blood of the Tarantula with writers Ed Brubaker and Ande Parks published by Marvel. I recently completed a graphic novel for Vertigo with writer Christos Gage and I'm currently working on the Marvel MAX series Dead of Night: Devil Slayer with writer Brian Keene. I live in the 'burbs with my lovely wife, Laura and our happy little cat Scout.

What do you think of those covers? Is the SI one a little better to write on then the Cap one, since it came out afterwards, maybe marvel made a few improvements to the sketching area...
I ordered 5 of the SI Covers but the shop sent me 10, so I may bring one your way in Chicago, if you are going to be there...

That is completely awesome.
That Moon Knight is all kinds of cool. Great job.
Hmmm. Neither one was especially easy to draw on but I think the Secret Invasion one was the harder of the two. Seemed to have more gloss on it that ink just didn't want to stick to. If you rub a kneaded eraser over the white area it seems to give it a bit more tooth though.
Thanks Dirty and Dan. You guys are awesome!!
