About Me
I grew up drawing comics in DeSoto, Missouri. I've done artwork for the graphic novel Capote in Kansas (which I received a nomination for the 2006 Russ Manning award for) and Queen and Country, both published by Oni Press, The Exterminators and American Splendor, published by DC/Vertigo and Checkmate, published by DC Comics as well as the Daredevil Annual: Blood of the Tarantula with writers Ed Brubaker and Ande Parks published by Marvel. I recently completed a graphic novel for Vertigo with writer Christos Gage and I'm currently working on the Marvel MAX series Dead of Night: Devil Slayer with writer Brian Keene. I live in the 'burbs with my lovely wife, Laura and our happy little cat Scout.

I know someone has previously mentioned that your art has a David Mazzuchelli feel (spelling?), but Omac's face gives me a Weiringo feel as well.
That is an awesome shot, and I'm not even a fan of either character.
This turned out fantastic! 100% pure Samnee awesomeness!
The balance of blacks in this is (as usual) very skilled. And without any hint of swiping, there's a tiny Kirby-feel to the Kamandi too - nice.
BTW - just read 'Capote in Kansas'. Really nice piece of work. Great story-telling and 'acting'. Your draughtsmanship has just got better, too.
You know after I inked Omac's face I thought Ringo too! Good call, Dirty! Ya gotta love the last boy on Earth though!!

YOUR'RE pure awesomeness!! Thanks, Lu:)

I wouldn't feel right swiping anything, but I did feel like Kamandi HAS to have bit of Kirby at least in face otherwise he just looks like some hippy in never-nude cut-offs
Oh, and thanks so much for picking up CiK, sir. Glad ya dug it, Alan.
