About Me
I grew up drawing comics in DeSoto, Missouri. I've done artwork for the graphic novel Capote in Kansas (which I received a nomination for the 2006 Russ Manning award for) and Queen and Country, both published by Oni Press, The Exterminators and American Splendor, published by DC/Vertigo and Checkmate, published by DC Comics as well as the Daredevil Annual: Blood of the Tarantula with writers Ed Brubaker and Ande Parks published by Marvel. I recently completed a graphic novel for Vertigo with writer Christos Gage and I'm currently working on the Marvel MAX series Dead of Night: Devil Slayer with writer Brian Keene. I live in the 'burbs with my lovely wife, Laura and our happy little cat Scout.

That is really impressive.
I dig your art a lot, but I especially appreciate pieces like this one that use negative space as part of the image.
I really hope I can make it to Heroes Con. If not, what other Cons are you doing this year? Is Chicago a possibility?

this one turned out great chris! i love the stylized shadows in the background... it really reminds me of harris' work on the series. great stuff!

Thanks Casali and Andy.
I'll be hitting Chicago but won't have a table. I'll post something here soon about maybe meeting folks at the show for sketches though.
