10 min: Penguin

Alright, so it's nowhere near as cool as Shark Week but this'll have to do.
All this week I'll post quick ten minute sketches. Nothin' too fancy, but I've run out of things to post and I really can't take too much time off of my comics work, so I thought these'd be a nice little distraction.
I've done a couple so far and they're actually pretty fun. We'll see if I get sick of 'em of by the end of the week though, or maybe I'll whittle the time down and do 5 minute sketches next week.

I think that's quite nice for 10 minutes. I'll be expecting prettier lunch notes from now on . . . The colors look beautiful - computer coloring is for pansies!!!

Thanks, Lulu:)

Yeah, I'm not sure that's the best representation of what the rest of these 10 min sketches'll look like though. That one just kind of fell out of my hand before I knew what was happening.

Computer colors just never manage any sort of immediacy, and rarely any warmth.

Yawn, back to work.

Love it! It actually has a bit of a Guy Davis feel--not something I would ever expect from you. Can't wait to see what you cook up next.

It's amazing what a talented artist can come up with in ten minutes. Keep 'em coming!

Thanks Brian...Guy Davis? Man, I wish I had a tenth of the talent that guys got, but thanks just the same.

Thanks Craig. This has turned out to be a fun little thing to play with between pages. Plenty more on the way.
