Heroes Con Auction Piece & Sketchbook Crossover Contest - Winner!

This is the piece I did for this weekend's Heroes Con Auction.  Here's hoping it goes for at least half a hundo.  :)  If you are attending Heroes in Charlotte this weekend, please stop by and say "Hi".  I will have prints, sketchbooks, comics, and blog sketches for sale.  I will also be doing a limited number of con sketches each day,  if you are interested in one - please come see me early!

And now drumroll for our Crossover Contest Winner . . .
Congrats to commenter #11 - Folkes!  You are now the owner of a 2008-2009 Sketchbook as well as 3 volumes of Lunchnotes.  Thank you to everyone who entered!  It was a lot of fun reading your comments.   You can check out who won the other set from the contest on Laura's blog here.

Congrats Folkes. Now I get to buy the sketchbooks, which we all know I would have done any way. Congratulations and enjoy them.

Congrates Folkes!

Chris, The Bat & Cat piece is simply AMAZING! You're just doing it up this Heroes Con! What's the size of this auction piece? You really out did yourself with this one!

I'll see you and Laura in Charlotte later this week! Have a safe trip!!!

Wow! This is a real beaut, Chris! Clever shadow-play and cool use of the bat signal as a visual prop and light source. Those claw marks on the bat insignia are a nice touch. The vertically-cascading architectural elements in the background are astonishing. Look out Artists Alley!

The BM/CW piece should be popular at the auction.
