Heroes Con: DD vs. Swamp Thing

First, thanks to everyone who stopped by my table at Heroes Con. Laura was surprised my head fit through the door after all your nice compliments and kind words. We had a great time, saw lots of old friends and made lots of new ones. I'm also happy to report that my Batman and Catwoman piece fetched a very nice price of eight half hundos! :)

I did an ass-ton of sketches for Heroes, so sorry in advance if you get sick of them. Here is the first of the bunch. This one was pre-ordered before the show and I got a bit carried away with all the swampiness of it. Thanks Matt for such a fun suggestion!

Beautiful piece! It was your DD one-shot that turned me onto your work.

I received the prints and was blown away. Thanks again! How is the feedback on them at the shows?

Looking forward to seeing the other pieces.

Ole DD is way out of his element here! Gotta put the money on the green guy!

Please feel free to get carried away on my pieces any time, Chris. You far exceeded my expectations on this one, and I'm very grateful. One of my all-time favorites!

This piece is insane! Amazing stuff, Chris. Your work just keeps getting better and better!

It was wonderful seeing you and Laura at the show. The sketchbook and lunchnotes are wondeful! Can't wait for next years sketchbook (looks like you're off to a great start with material) and LunchNotes vol. 4!

I'm also glad your auction piece was a success! I know some folks who were doing live Twitter feeds of auction and when your piece went, I was so impressed and jealous. Congrats to Larry if he follows this blog for making that acquistion!

Great seeing you at the Con! Congrats on the auction piece! It was easily one of the best there. I think soon instead of hearing "who did that" we'll hear, "that's a Samnee".

Nice match-up and you crushed it. Glad to hear the show went well and let me second how awesome the prints, sketchbook and lunch notes are!

I would have never thought of this combo. Interesting and you made it work.

It was great meeting you and your wife at the show. Hope to have the opportunity again in the future.

Thanks also for posting the con sketches!

Oh! I found a Gambit drawing you did in 95. Should I post it ;) just kidding, but if you want me to scan it and send it to you, I can do that.
