CAPTAIN MARVEL

Since all the cool kids have been drawing Captain Marvel lately I figured I'd take a stab at the Big Red Cheese myself.
The cool kids being Mike Norton, Tom Fowler and Doc Shaner.
Mike is actually the artist on the upcoming Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam series for DC, written by the team of Art Baltazar and Franco. I couldn't be more excited to start get my hands on this book. Looks like it'll be a ton of fun.

Also, the final issue of The Mighty is on stands today!!

And don't forget to grab yourself a copy of Siege: Embedded #1 while you are out at the comic shop. It's on shelves today as well!! Both by yours truly :D

Wow! Love the Shazam, especially his expression and your use of negative space to create the tree tops and lightning.

There were some truly great character moments in both The Mighty #12 and Siege: Embedded #1, which you really delivered on (once again, the facial expressions of your characters are just fantastic). Like my fellow In-Samnee-acs, I'm going to miss The Mighty, but I'm looking forward to your many other projects in 2010. The Captain Marvel piece is really stunning. I like how the negative space that the tree limbs occupy mirrors that of the lightning, further intensifying the foreboding nature of the visual.
