Rocketeer

I had an idea of how I wanted this sketch to look, and thought I got relatively close by the time I finished, but apparently I was wrong.
Originally this was meant to be landscape format but after I scanned it into Photoshop, which automatically turned it vertically, it all just clicked waaayyy better.
Take that, brain! You've been outsmarted by software... and this time it wasn't just Lego Batman!!

Also, the contest to win a sketch that started last week will be running through this Friday (Oct 23rd) so be sure enter, okay?

I'm getting dizzy just looking at this one, Chris. The layout and orientation of this piece are among your best to date, and the topsy-turvy flight path and angularity of this piece make this a really fun piece to look at (albeit not for very long without experiencing vertigo). I'd love to see you on a Rocketeer project someday, as if this is any indication of what we could expect, we'd be in for a real visual treat. Well done, sir!

Chris, you and the Rocketeer go together like peanuts and m&ms. Need proof, check out the drawing you just did!

I knew this was gonna be a doozie. Great sense of vertigo.

I've come back to looked at this drawing several times now, and every time I do I'm blown away. It's by far my favorite Rocketeer drawing by any artist. Great job! Keep up the good work. Hope to see new stuff soon.
