Five Reasons to Order Thor!

Covers for Issues #1 & #2

Issues #1 & #2 of Thor: The Mighty Avenger are now in Previews. If you haven't already, please ask your comics retailer to order them for you! And if you aren't already sold, here are five reasons you should pick this book up!

1. This book is not tied to continuity! Never read a Thor book before? No problem! You'll still understand everything in this book.

2. This book is FUN! Roger Langridge has packed more fun into 22 pages than you can handle.

3. It's only $2.99.

4. I have a wife and a cat to feed. You don't want them to starve, do you?

5. I'll be holding a contest (details to come) for people who pick these two issues up! But to enter, you need to get your grubby little hands on it the day it comes out! Deal?

Seriously, I couldn't be prouder of this book. I hope you support it by pre-ordering it at your retailer and join in on the fun.

For those of you holding off because you think it's a "kids" book - it's not! It is rated "A" which is the rating between All Ages and T+. So pretty much anybody can read and enjoy it! :D

Can't wait for this. More Thor is great, more Thor by you is fantastic.
When you say the day it comes out for the contest, do you mean that we have to get it on the Wednesday?
As we get the new releases on Thursdays in Ireland and the UK.

I haven't picked up any comics in the last year, but I've been looking for an excuse to visit a shop again. You've given me one. =D

Not too long ago on twitter I said that 2010 would be Chris' break out year. This high profile Thor title is going to put him over the top. Can't wait to read Langridge's words and ogle your art. For once I'm not trade waiting.

Rest assured that I'll check this out. Its quite possible the most interesting new comic I've seen this year.

With so much mixmash about the character I'm glad to hear it won't be bogged down by current events, and its great to hear that this will be "fun".

Love your wife's blog by the way. It gave me more laughs in a minute than I've had all week.

I'll be sure and keep my eyes peeled in July.
