I've done artwork for the graphic novel Capote in Kansas (which I received a nomination for the 2006 Russ Manning award for) and Queen and Country, both published by Oni Press, The Exterminators and American Splendor, published by DC/Vertigo and Checkmate, published by DC Comics as well as the Daredevil Annual: Blood of the Tarantula with writers Ed Brubaker and Ande Parks published by Marvel. I recently completed a graphic novel for Vertigo with writer Christos Gage and I'm currently working on the Marvel MAX series Dead of Night: Devil Slayer with writer Brian Keene. Crazy how this feels like Mazzucheli. So far...all your "Books I'd Kill to Draw" are right in line with what I'd be interested in.

Thanks all. I always think of Mazzucchelli's Gordon when I put brush to paper. Guess that comes through a bit.
I can't remember if they've ever shared more than a couple of words with each other in the comics, but I can totally picture them as a sort of Odd couple.
I got to say I'd kill to read or write this one.
I love this idea. Jim and Al. That would be great.
