Whatever Wednesday: Devil Slayer Dilemma

About 75% of the time drawing comics is pretty easy. There are some times though, where just trying to pick an angle or a pose can throw my whole day out of whack.

Does the star mean you went with B? I like that the best, shows him actually kicking the door in...

It's like a page from How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way. Only all yours were pretty cool. B is great, but C woulda kicked ass too

jwgav: Yeah, we ended up going with B. I liked C a lot but it didn't really flow well with the rest of the page.

Alan: Thanks a lot. It's funny that you'd say that because when I first looked at How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way, I actually preferred the "boring" versions of the panels Buscema drew.

Sorry my comment is late, but I also agree that option B was the way to go; more drama, more depth, & emphasizes the guy entering the room rather than how C could be perceived as armed men fleeing.
Plus, the old man really looks like a Toth doodle in all 3 :)

Good points, Seth. Every once in a while I just get jammed up on something simple like this and get wrap my head around the shot. Glad we went with what seems to have been the best option.
Thanks for the Toth comparison. I was really going all out with the design on that guy:)
