Cloak and Dagger, the coolest drug addicts in comics ;)
First, thanks to everyone who stopped by my table at Heroes Con. Laura was surprised my head fit through the door after all your nice compliments and kind words. We had a great time, saw lots of old friends and made lots of new ones. I'm also happy to report that my Batman and Catwoman piece fetched a very nice price of eight half hundos! :)

This is the piece I did for this weekend's Heroes Con Auction. Here's hoping it goes for at least half a hundo. :) If you are attending Heroes in Charlotte this weekend, please stop by and say "Hi". I will have prints, sketchbooks, comics, and blog sketches for sale. I will also be doing a limited number of con sketches each day, if you are interested in one - please come see me early!
Congrats to commenter #11 - Folkes! You are now the owner of a 2008-2009 Sketchbook as well as 3 volumes of Lunchnotes. Thank you to everyone who entered! It was a lot of fun reading your comments. You can check out who won the other set from the contest on Laura's blog here.
I know this is a real stretch for blog post content, but I'm really hard at work on Blackest Night: Tales of the Corp #3 in addition to all the great stuff we're working on for Heroes Con next week so this is the best you're going to get! This is my new self-portrait for my business cards in addition to being my new avatar on Twitter. I promise Monday's post will be chock full of awesomeness! Plus, we'll announce the contest winners!
Here's s'more.
This guy is from the Project Comicon show in St. Louis this past weekend. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat or pick up a sketch. If you got a sketch, I'd love it if you could send a hi-res scan to the email address in my profile.
Work is finally completed on my first ever solo sketchbook, so to celebrate - we're having a contest! The sketchbook consists of 48 pages of black and white sketches and commissions, many of which have appeared right here on this very blog! I'll be selling it at conventions this year, along with my prints. One lucky blog reader will receive not only a copy of my new sketchbook, but also a three volume set of Lunchnotes mini-comics that Laura has put together!

Also, the Mighty #5 is on stands today so be sure to check it out. If you're in the St. Louis area I'll be doing a signing today at Star Clipper and Sunday at the South County location of the Fantasy Shop to celebrate! Be sure to come by and say hi!
