Books I'd Kill to Draw: Iron Fist

This one was a lot of fun!

The Orson Randall incarnation of Iron Fist is easily one of my favorite new characters that Ed Brubaker and Matt Fraction and David Aja have brought in to the Marvel Universe of late. He's got such a great pulp sensibility with his set of .45s and his Phantom like sweater.

Also, Martijn Form's farewell to Exterminators is up at Comics Bulletin with a wee quote from me in there.
Exterminators is unfortunately another of those great books cancelled far far too soon.

Can't you just draw all these books anyways? Any indie books you'd like to draw?

Thanks Seth!

I dunno, Dirty... there's indie books I dig but there are very few I'd KILL to work on. Hang in there though. Like I said the other day there will be a few surprises. I'm just ramping up here:D

Lovin' this Iron Fist piece, lots of kineticism and power.

Iron Fist has 45s now?? Hmmmm... might have to check that out.

I really like your version of the "Golden Age" Iron Fist, Chris... I hope I.F.'s editor over at Marvel comes over here during his lunch break and sees this. Seconds later, everyone in the Marvel offices will hear the sound of him slapping his forehead really loudly and screaming, "OF COURSE! WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THIS BEFORE??!? QUICK, SOMEBODY CALL SAMNEE!!"

Great job.

Thanks a bunch, Pat. I was going for a old-school John Woo sort of thing.

Thanks, Craig. ONE of the Iron Fists carries 45s. He can control the bullets using his chi. How cool is that?!

Thanks a ton, Ron! Maybe one of these day:)
