Technicolor Thursday: Firebreather



I'm knee deep in work right now but I did manage to squeeze in this pinup between pages the other night. 
This guy'll be showing up in the trade paperback collection of Phil Hester and Andy Kuhn's excellent Firebreather.
Inks AND colors, baby!  Well, a couple colors anyway.

Wow, talk about turning up the heat! While the black and white version is impressive, your colors really bring this one to life, creating a strong sense of three-dimensionality for Duncan and his environment. Very, very impressive!

Love both versions, but I think in this case, the pure b/w clinches it. Great, almost abstract in places
