TWO-FACE

Not much to say about this one really... The scarred part of Harvey's face in the drawing was actually scratched off of the bristol board with a razor blade. Oh, and Two-Face is my favorite Batman villain:)

Since I just finished the pencils to Siege: Embedded #2 this morning I'm gonna go take a nap now. See you kids on Monday... if I'm awake by then :P

Respect!

Really looking forward to the Seige mini, love me some avengers! Glad to see you working in that playground...
I always love hearing about artists "tools", I mean who ever thought that items like razor blades and white out can be used to draw with!
Great stuff, thanks Chris!

You know what's cool about this piece, Chis, is that ambiguity of Harvey's persona is on full display, such that, if I didn't know any better, I could look at this guy and say, "Hmm, he looks like a cool pulp fiction hero in the vein of a Jonah Hexed-out Doc Savage or something." I'm not sure if that kind of thinking ever entered into the equation, but I like the fact that I'm left with that sense of uncertainty. On another note, I realize that I'm a knuckle-head, but I can't really make out the details of what Harvey is standing on or in front of; could you help a brother out? Have a restful weekend.

I get a real "James Dean" angry young man vibe off of your version of Harvey.

Wow, you've put him in such a great environment. Brilliant shadows. I can't believe this doesn't take loads of planning, but I get the impression you do loose pencils then dive in. Impressive

Thanks so much, everybody!!! :D

Matt W. , He's in standing on an L-shaped pipe. The elbow of which is closest to us. The pipes behind him run horizontally and have diagonal cast shadows for the walkways above.
