Arkham Asylum: Old School Catwoman

I'd been wanting to sketch this version of Catwoman for a long time now, and with this theme week I finally got the chance:)
Thanks again to Brian Jones for picking a theme so close to my heart, and a big thanks again to the previous three winners, as well as everyone who chimed in with themes and all you kind folks who've been leaving such nice comments of late.
An update on the consolation prizes will be coming soon.

Have a great weekend, folks.  And thanks for lookin'.

This... this ROCKS, Chris. Great take on Old School Selina. Fantastic mood... you really did the character (and Gotham City) justice.

Looking forward to next Monday already. Have a nice weekend!

Hei, I really love your old school style, sometime mixed with Miller and Kirby influences.

Great job.

WOW..Love this! While I dont mind her current costume this is my favorite version of Selina. You can just picture Bats on the other side of the roof telling her to stop right there! I'd say you did a PURR-FECT job! Thank you Chris for a fun week of some of the great Bat villans. This just makes me want to see you on a Bat title all the more!

My favourite also, from a top quaility week. Great pose. It's amazing, when you look closely, how the illusion of a city-scape is created with such deceptively simple marks. That's practice and skill for ya.

A slam-bang finish worthy of the four week thrill ride we've been on. Great dynamics to this one, as if the viewer has stumbled upon the scene just when things have started to get interesting. I agree with Brian; it seems as if we're looking through the eyes of Batman as he's confronting her on the rooftops. This one ranks in the top five from the entire Name-A-Theme-Week contest series. Thanks for such a fun experience, Chris!

Amazing, I wonder why she chose a cape and a long skirt? It does not seem like that outfit would help her acrobatics too much! Oh well, great pics...
